NLA Organizational Alliances

The NLA is harnessing global relationships and reaching out to other countries to promote advances in research and professional development for those who work with lipids. In 2010, the NLA began its first organizational alliance programs with the Australian Atherosclerosis Society (AAS), the Philippine Lipid and Atherosclerosis Society (PLAS) and the Polish Lipid Association (PoLA).

The Journal of Clinical Lipidology is the official journal of the NLA, and was accepted for inclusion in Medline and PubMed in June 2010. The Journal received its second impact factor in June 2011, with a score of 1.467. Members of allied organizations are entitled to take out a complimentary subscription to the Journal of Clinical Lipidology
through December 2013 (online access only). Qualifying individuals should complete the subscription form located at www.lipidjournal.com/pricing and e-mail it to Elsevier, which will verify eligibility with the NLA.
