The W. Virgil Brown Distinguished Achievement Award & Lectureship
Knowledge Center
The National Lipid Association is your destination for the science of lipid medicine. Now, everything we know is in one place.
About the Award

The W. Virgil Brown Distinguished Achievement Award & Lectureship is the highest honor the NLA bestows. It’s named for Dr. W. Virgil Brown, a founder of the NLA whose impact on lipidology, and on the organizations that champion it, remains unmatched.
Since 2009, the NLA and the Foundation of the NLA have come together each year to recognize one exceptional clinician whose work has changed how lipid disorders are diagnosed and treated. Know someone who fits that description? We want to hear about them.
